Hey! Would love to update my last adventure to South East Asia with my family. I travelled to Phuket, Bangkok and Malaysia last July. I had a great time there, and would love to share it to you :) First day, we were heading to Kuala Lumpur and stay there for a couple hours to waited for boarding to Phuket at night. Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 was very big, and so many stores there. You can check about KLIA 2 here: KLIA2 When time get to 19:00 we go to boarding gate, check immigration and custom, etc and ready to take off. It just took 2 hours from Malaysia to Phuket. When we arrived at Phuket, we took a taxi to go to our hotel and we should pay 800baht to Patong Beach. Its quite far from Phuket Airport to our hotel in Patong. We stay in The Nap Patong Hotel. Check the hotel here: TheNap very nice hotel but quite expensive. but the hospitality and the view was nice. Day - 2
Our hotel was very near to Patong Beach. and Patong is the most famous beach resort on Phuket. With its wide variety of activities and nightlife, Patong is an ideal place to party and play. By night the town has a bustling nightlife which includes literally hundreds of restaurants, beer bars, GoGo Bars and of course discos. The nightlife is centred around Soi Bangla (Bangla Road) however there are quiet parts of town. (from www.phuket.com) Day - 3 Early in the morning we go to Phang Nga Bay. It takes 2 hours from Patong Beach to the pier. After we arrived in the pier, we board the ship and ready to the first island, James Bond Island. James Bond Island Highlights - www.phuket.com Phang Nga Bay covers an area of 400sqkm and is home to some 100 islands, many of which could feature in The Guinness Book of Records either for their beauty or for their freakish shapes. James Bond Island, with its signature rocky pinnacle, has been a major attraction ever since it featured in the 1974 Bond movie. Luckily it is under national park protection and as a result no boats of any kind are allowed to go too close to the island because of its precarious position – big on the upper part and relatively slim at the bottom. The two best ways to view James Bond Island are from boats or from the small beach on Koh Ping Ghan. Koh Ping Ghan is another sample of how the Mother Nature works her magic. Basically it’s a very high leaning rock that has some small caves inside. It’s pretty amazing and fun to check them all out. On its crowded eastern beach, there are stalls and stands selling knickknack souvenirs, mostly made from shells and woods. And then we go to Hong Island and start Sea-Kayaking there. What an amazing experienced I've ever tried :) Discover a unique and hidden world as sturdy canoes weave their way through a network of brilliant crystalline limestone caves, to reveal the mysterious hidden world of the "Hongs" After sea canoe, its almost 1 PM and its rain so heavy. The tour provide us lunch with so many varian of foods. And then they bring us to another island (I forget the name). There you can take pictures inside the island. And We can canoeing by ourselves. Around 3 PM we heading back to the Pier and go back to our hotel. At night we get our dinner in a restaurant called number 6. This restaurant always crowded and they have many choices of food. Tried the Tom Yum and its super yummy! That's all I want to share for now, later i'll share more about my trip in bangkok and malaysia. :)
